		James Sherley April 18, 1828 Stanwell, Middlesex Co. England. Son of William Rolfe Sherley Jr of Staines Middlesex England. He migrated to Auckland New Zealand with Mary Sidwell, daughter of his sister, Ann. Mary Sidwell who was his niece kept house for him. They had 5 children prior to marriage. He died Dec 9, 1904. Middlesex Baptism: April 11, 1830 James Sherley of William and Elizabeth Sherley, Stanwell, Inn keeper Married Mary Sidwell. They were legally married on 12 June 1900 at Auckland, New Zealand; She was born about 1848 at Clerkenwell, age 2 in parent's 1851 census Children of James Sherley and Mary Sidwell: 1(i).
