Old Plymouth Colony family

Elder William Brewster 1566/67, died 1644 Plymouth, MA. He was affiliated with Scrooby Church in Nottingham Co. England and was one of the pilgrims who came to America on the "Mayflower".  He married  Mary _____ and she died at Plymouth in Massachusetts in 1627.

Known children:

1. Jonathon Brewster came to America in the "Fortune".  He died Aug 7, 1659 in Connecticut.  He married Lucretia Oldham April 10, 1624 Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts.  She was the daughter of William Oldham and she was bapt. in 1600 in the Parish of All Saints in the Diocese of Derby in Derby County England by Edward Bennett, Minister.  Her father, Wm. Ouldham (as it was spelled then), married Philippa Sowter Nov 17, 1588. (A Thomas Sowter m. Alice Turnar May 19, 1560 in same parish). (It appears she may be a cousin of  John Oldham of Nothumberland Co. VA).

2. Patience Brewster came to Massachusetts in the 'ANN' in July 1623. She died 1635. m. Thomas Pence.

3. Fear Brewster  came in the  "ANN" in 1623, died Dec 12, 1634. She married Isaac Allerton.

4. Love Brewster

5. Wrestling Brewster  came in the "Mayflower" with his parents.

6. child died  in Leydon, Holland
