A Thomas Foster was listed in the 1765 tythable household of Isaac Foster in PW. A Thomas Foster was listed in the Broad Run (PW) Church minutes "added by   Baptism Aug 1774 and was "dismiss't South 1783". Sarah Foster admitted to Broad Run at the same time as Eliz Grubbs, May 1776. Also "dismiss't South 1783"

The Shirley family members added about the same time to Broad Run Church.

A Thomas Foster and Sarah Foster (sister of Ambrose Foster) were the charter   members of Turkey Creek Baptist Church 1786 with Thomas Shirley of Prince William (also dismissed South from Broad Run)and others from Broad Run.  Ambrose Foster was added shortly thereafter to the rolls.

Benjamin Foster died in Northumberland Co. VA in 1760. Administration to Robert Clark Jr. who involved in John Shirley will of 1738 and John Shirley Jr. will of 1742 in Northumberland Co. VA.
