Mott Surname
		Mr. William Shirley living next door to Sir Grey Skipwith in New Kent Co. VA. That county is in todays King and Queen Co. George and John MOTT are also neighbors. (James Shirley goldsmith of London, and found on the cover of this issue of the NEWS, was married to Mary MOTT). Elizabeth Mott was married to Sir Thomas Foote, Lord Mayor of London. His Godson was Richard Sherley. (see Foote) Skinner family of Massachusetts and Hartford Connecticut, married into the Mott family. (see Skinner).
