Patrick Spence appointed tobacco inspector fo Wicocomico and Coan, Westmoreland co. April27, 1731 and sheriff in 1737. His wife was Dorcas Youell/Ewell. She married 2nd John JORDAN. In her will she mentions: Friends---John Sturman, John Higgons, and Lawrence Pope. Witnesses: Nicholas Minor and Mary Minor.

(John Jordan listed in Newport Parish Vestry Book, Isle of Wight Co. VA).

Capt Patrick Spence  m. Jemima Sanford and she died 1755. Her will lists... her children as:

Eliz. Sanford, Patrick Spence, Jemima Suggett, Mary Spence, and Youel Spence.

Alexander Spence died 1716. Married Elizabeth Browne, youngest daughter of Evn Browne. James Taylor, late of Richmond County, now of Westmoreland Co. VA, married widow of Evan Browne who died Feb 6, 1694.
