Deed Edgecombe Co. NC Dec 26, 1777. Joseph Howell to James Waller. 300 acres, 100 pounds, south side of Tar River. Witnesses: Starling Waller, Richard Shirley.
Richard Shirley's will March 20, 1816, Nov. Court 1823. Richard Shirley names his children and wife.
Delilah died in 1826.
