Embley Shirley born Jun 1, 1809 KY died June 22, 1866 Howard Co. Indiana. He married 1st Mary Jane Hitt, 2nd Mariah A. Lisher Young. They and their descendants lived in Webster Co. Nebraska and Vermillion Co. Illinois. Mariah m. after her husband's death to Allen F. Coons (Kuhn).
