George Thomas "Tom" Shirley born 1855 d. 1937 m. Florence McHenry in 1882, Grantville, KS, born 1860 d. 1959 (99 years of age)
Tom was considered one of the leading stockmen and farmers of the area. Florence was a devoutly religious woman and instrumental in the development of the Grantville Methodist Church. She was also on the Executive Board of the Methodist Home in Topeka KS for many years.
