The query was about Michael Shirley, not Lucas. My comment stated that Michael's DNA matched Valentine's DNA, and indeed it does.
However, the DNA for Lucas is different from Michael and Valentine. This result was perplexing. More research on that issue needs to be done. DNA can be different for a number of reasons, including an illigitimacy at some point in the descent. But at this point, we have no information to confirm that event. We simply need more Lucas descendants (from different branches) to confirm the DNA pattern.
