In 1850 they were found in Bledsoe Co. TN. By 1860 they are in Miller Co. MO. The 1870-80 census reveals them in Ray Co. MO In 1900 Elizabeth is a widow in Reno Kansas. They had 7 children. 6. Thomas Swafford 1813 TN 7. Sarah Swafford 1814 TN married Landon Jesse Shirley about 1835 in Bledsoe Co. TN. In 1850 they were living in Bledsoe Co. and in 1860 they are living in Moniteau Co. MO. By 1880 Landon Jesse Shirley is in Collin Co. TX and 1900, Carter Co. OK. 8. John Calvin Swafford 1818 TN married Mary Ellen "Mollie" Shirley about 1841. In 1850 census they are in Bledsoe co. TN but moved to White Co. TN and remained there until the early part of the Civil War. They moved west in 1880 census they are in Ray Co. Mo. There were 12 known children.
