(Lord Wellington Shirley) who being duly sworn states as follows,
to wit: I am a resident of Tahlequah District CN and am 62 years
old. The applicant Winney Daugherity is a first cousin of mine
her father and my mother were full brother and sister, her father's
name was John a son of Old Daniel Love and Old Daniel Love was
a full blooded Scotchman and his wife, (grandmother of mine)
was a full blooded Cherokeee Indian. She was also the grandmother
of the applicant. My grandmother Cherokee name was NA.KE. Jan.

married 2nd Annie Foreman on 25 Nov 1852 in Washington Co
Arkansas; She was was born March 17, 1827 in Bradley County,
Tennessee, and died February 13, 1897 daughter of Richard Bark
Foreman and Rachel Seabolt; Drennen Roll: 1851, #633 Flint District

on November 21, 1872, son of John Wolfe and Elizabeth Sanders.
He was born November 16, 1849 in Going Snake District, Cherokee
Nation, Oklahoma, and died Bef. 1906. Miller app # 3206
The Miller app. of Sarah [sic]E Wolfe nee Shirley # 3206.
Father: Wellington Sherly. Mother: nnie Foreman. Father born
27 May 1825 in old Cherokee Nation, died 9 June 1894. Mother
born 17 Mar 1827 Bradley Co TN, died 13 Feb 1897. Sarah Wolfe
names Wellington's parents: John Sherly, born Scotland, and Elizabeth
Sherly. Her mother's parents: Bark (Richard "Dick")
Forman and Rachel Seabolt. Miller #3207, Annie L. Lane gives
almost the same information as her sister Sarah Wolfe. Their
brother John L. Shirley Miller App. # 13551 deals only with their
mother's lineage.

6, 1856 in Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory, Oklahoma (tombstone
says 1854-1940), He is listed on the Miller and Dawes Rolls;
