His military pension states that he left the regiment in December 1864 on sick furlough. His 1905 pension further states that Beverly was at home in Habersham Co., GA when surrender occurred. He was married with children in 1870, then living at Deep Creek, Habersham Co GA. Enumerated in the same place in 1880 census; He died 31 January 1921 in Habersham Co GA (death cert) Buried at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Habersham Co GA
