malthouse etc in the City of Coventry now in the occupation of
Thomas Wynn as leasee to my wife Sarah Shirley for natural life
and after decease to Rev John Ballard vicar of Cropredy and Wm
Smith of Cropredy to hold upon trust, to sell at auction or private
[long trust verbiage] wife to have use of all household furntire
for life and after decease to divide amongst all my children.
10L to daughter Hannah Arkell Robinson wife of John Robinson
of Perhanger in parish of Passenham Northampton, butcher . Benefit
of my daughter Sarah Shirley. Residue to my 3 sons John Shirley,
Edward Shirley, and George Shirley and my 3 daughters Hannah
Arkell Robinson, Elizabeth Shirley and Mary Ann Shirley equally
(provision if they are not age 21). Codicil 3 April 1840: Ballard
has died, so appoint eldest son John Shirley of Cropredy laborer
in his place as turstee and execuoter. Have also advanced 40L
to son Edward and son George; January 1854 <mark> Edwad

married Sarah Arkell on 30 September 1805 at Shotteswell,
Warwickshire; She was of Burton Dasset Warwickshire; She was
born about 1784 in Cropredy (age 67 in 1851 census)

of Wicken in 1830.
